As a Chicago Fresh 48 Newborn photographer, I have the incredible privilege of photographing the precious moments that follow as a family welcomes their newest baby into the world. Fresh 48 sessions are all about documenting the first 48 hours of a newborn’s life. These sessions are very relaxed and unposed, and are most frequently done in-hospital before mom and baby are discharged, but can also be done at home.
Chicago Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions can take place at any Chicago or Chicago suburb area hospital or birth center, or at your home. Once your session is reserved, I will be on-call for the weeks around your due date. Some hospitals that I am available for a Fresh 48 Session are:
- Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital
- Evanston Women’s Hospital
- Northwest Community Hospital
- Lutheran General Hospital
- Highland Park Hospital
Fresh 48 Sessions are held in the mornings, in order to utilize the natural lighting in the room.
